Fume Hood Clean-Out Competition
The Inaugural EH&S Fume Hood Clean-Out Competition took place during Lab Safety Awareness Week 2024! We encouraged labs to evaluate their fume hoods and look for opportunities to reduce chemical storage, improve housekeeping, remove equipment from the sides and rear of the fume hood, and maintain equipment on stands or blocks to improve airflow to name a few improvements.
