Prevention & Minimization Tips
Everyone at Washington University School of Medicine can contribute
to minimizing waste and preventing pollution. Please do the following
to
get started:
- Review the Waste
Minimization Checklist to determine what you are
currently doing and what you can do.
- Experiment with the suggested
methods of pollution prevention and waste minimization where they
apply to you.
- Email EH&S at esafety@msnotes.wustl.edu about novel
ideas, successful techniques and suggestions that will improve this
site.
- Talk to colleagues about these issues and help us market our
ideas.
- Think about pollution prevention and waste minimization
before beginning a project.
